Bypass Ellsinore

and avoid traps

Dear Speak Out: I read Sunday's speakout on speed trap at Ellsinore. My daughter who was going to visit her mother-in-law at 11 o'clock at night in Ellsinore was given a $168 fine at Jct. A downtown Ellinore for not coming to a complete stop. No other traffic at that time. My son was given a $170 fine this week near the log cabin on Hwy. 67, who the city policeman claimed was exceeding the 67 speed limit by 5 mph.

If traveling on Highway 67 you can avoid the traps by going through Grandin on Hwy. 21 or cutting your speed to 15 mph as you approach the Ellsinore turn off. To be certain of no ticket, by-pass Ellisnore completely.
