Be warned, think twice

Dear Speakout:

For the low bred piece of crap that "burglarized" my house between 8:00 a.m. and 9:20 a.m. Saturday morning. Here is a "Promise", I will be waiting on you next time, and I will kill you when you come in!

RIP

Floor seating

for disabled

Hello. I'd like to comment on the Downtown Veterans' Concert that was held at the Black River Coliseum. Being a disabled vet myself I really appreciated the concert. I think it's really nice for the community to come together for Robert Wake Foundation and for the VA here to put together something like that. But my comment is on the seating arrangements seeing it was a packed house and I thought this was concert for the veterans, but there was a lot of disabled veterans, including myself, that were escorted to the top and I was not able to climb the stairs myself. I seen a lot of people in wheelchairs and walkers who could not they was moving us off the floor because they said we didn't have floor seating. I think that they need to look at their seating arrangement a little better and since this is a concert for veterans let the veterans have priority seating for them and their families.

Think before

you vote

This is for Congressman Smith who voted for burning off row crops. Allergy sufferers, COPD patients and smoke-victims also vote! Remember that! Thank you.

Buff up Bartlett

Talk about Buffing Up the Bluff. They could plow down some of these buildings on Bartlett Street that has been vacant for over 20 years and they have been standing for about 50.

Reader badly needs job

I'm calling about in the paper it's got Help Wanted, part-time position available, mail room, newspaper inserter, janitor and you know what it funny? My daughter put her application in, two of my granddaughters put their application in -- my daughter about a month ago, granddaughters a month ago and you know what? Not one of them got called. Somethin's wrong! You need help so bad why aren't you calling the people who puttin' their applications in? They need a job badly. This is pathetic! Wantin' help and people put applications in and there isn't a word and the thing was, you know, they gave him to the top person -- the application, so I don't know what's going on. Thank you.
