Hello, Speak Out. I'm very curious about just exactly how much of a raise our electric company got that showed up on our bill this month? My electricity bill has almost doubled. I heat two rooms -- that's all I heat and I've almost doubled on my electricity. I haven't used more electricity. I'm using the same appliances. The weather has been no worse than last year, which I compared the rates to last year -- same answer -- the light bill almost doubled and I would very much like to know how much of a raise the Municipal Utilities got and I would like to know why? I would like to very much why this HUGE raise -- it's ridiculous! Thank you, Speak Out. Bye-bye.

Hello, Speak Out. I encourage everyone to take Hwy. 160 from 67 south junction to Doniphan. Stay in the new lane. Stay on the extreme right hand lane in both directions. You know a roadway it kinda like paintin' a house -- you're gonna put just as much paint on that house whether you do a good job painting or a poor job painting it. So I haven't seen anything in the DAR about the proposals to fix the problem -- no explanation for the problem -- and yet MoDOT will be up every election wanting more money. Why would you throw good money away on an organization like that? And apparently the construction companies and material companies have been big supporters of some of the local politicians and maybe those politicians will pay attention when Gov. Greitens makes an attempt to educate them on ethics! I'm sure it that will fall on deaf ears because obviously our local elected politicians aren't interested in ethics as it might pertain to them.

And as for the national government -- I'm hopeful that in my lifetime I'm gonna see a government that doesn't kiss the backside of the minority at the expense of the majority! And I truly believe if you don't like it here -- free passage to Liberia for instance. Thank you, Speak Out.
