Judgement call

I just wanted to leave a comment. The Poplar Bluff Police Department, in particular, they do a thankless job and I do support our men in blue. I did want to say this comment, and it is very directed at a personal situation that's going on with me right now. When you put comments in a police report that this person or that person is not considered a suspect you make it impossible, you are rendering a judgment -- you make it impossible for victims of future crimes to essentially put two and two together and investigate crimes of the past. So I would caution all officers don't make a judgment call just put in your report and let it be. Thank you.

Who pays?

Here is another good example of our laws here in Poplar Bluff. It says in the paper under police reports: 22 year-old Poplar Bluff woman was injured in two vehicle crash. My question is since a scooter does not need to be licensed, does not need to be insured, and the driver doesn't need a license, who pays for the man's truck she hit? That's what I'm sayin'. I have to have car insurance and everything else and these people don't even have a licence. What is wrong with Butler County? Can somebody please answer this or will the paper not even print it? Thank you.
