"You do not need to be an expert or interested in only Ag related matters to be involved in 4-H," said Stephanie Milner, regional 4-H youth development specialist with University of Missouri Extension. "4-H is so much more with project opportunities in photography, robotics, foods and nutrition, gardening, animals and much more." 4-H is the largest out-of-school youth organization in the world, and is open to all boys and girls, ages 5 to 18. Children ages 5 to 7 years old (by December 2016) are eligible for 4-H Clover Kids. Youth who are 5 to 18 years of age (by December 2016) can choose from a variety of 4-H skills such as public speaking, social interaction, decision making, nutrition, fitness, and much more. Clubs in Butler County have grown in the last few years from one club to now six clubs including the shooting sports project. In Butler County four clubs are open for enrollment all year long. Clubs are distributed throughout the county with clubs in Neelyville, Rombauer, Poplar Bluff, Fisk and Qulin.
