VA police, give

'em some love

Well, just got my newspaper on the back page is a whole page of the Poplar Bluff Police Department being thanked and congratulated and which they should by all means, but they aren't the only police department here in Poplar Bluff. The VA also has one and you can ask the veterans they are highly respected but they never get any recognition here in Poplar Bluff and that's sad. Surely someone at the DAR knows someone or is related to someone that has been to the VA or maybe still is. People of Poplar Bluff, c'mon give some thanks to the VA Police Department.

New cable TV

Yes. Why can't Poplar Bluff get a new cable system. New Wave goes out of my TV four or five times a day along with my internet. Please.

Sue the family

This is in reference to Chicago's the fine upstanding member of the community, the 18 year-old black man who stole the sports car. I believe justice was done and I believe if his relatives sue somebody then somebody needs to sue whoever raised him to be a thief. These are unsettling times when a policeman is doing his job is accused of wrongdoing so let's turn it around. Let's sue the family that raised him. Let's sue his mama and his daddy and all the people he's kin to and especially that sorry-***** attorney that's accusing the police of wrongdoing. You gotta stop this crap somewhere.
