A different

Democratic party

President John F. Kennedy pledged to put men on the moon. President Barack Obama pledged to put men in women's restrooms. What a disgrace to mankind. This isn't your father's Democratic party.

PBRMC

experience

was wonderful

I just want to say how pleased I was with the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Hospital. Everyone was so helpful. I use a walker 'cause I don't get around very good and a young man saw me tried to get me to take a wheelchair on the way in, but I didn't. By the time I got done with my tests two orderlies helped me in a wheelchair. They wheeled me out and helped put me in my vehicle and the same young man saw me on the way in stopped me on the way out and said he was glad I decided to use a wheelchair. Everybody was so helpful and so polite. It was a wonderful experience.

Bring back

DDT spraying

I know it's not politically correct but I've been watchin' on television about all these mosquito-borne diseases. Tick fevers, viruses, and ever'thing. Most recently the Zika virus. Of course the West Nile is no joke. But you know what people never mention. It's been just about 50 years since DDT was banned. Prior to that in the late '30s and through the '40s the United States, the government itself, went out in the country and sprayed people's houses, chicken houses, barns, corn cribs . . . you name it, they sprayed DDT on everything and you can directly correlate that to people living longer and having better health because the bugs, the flies, the mosquitoes was killed off. And then all of a sudden it was supposedly a bad thing - maybe it was - maybe it wasn't - but all things in moderation. I think DDT should be brought back for a couple of years and knock that population down. But maybe a lot of bleeding hearts and tree huggers that would oh, no, don't do that! Well maybe they'll catch one of those mosquito-borne diseases or their children and then we'll hear what they've got to say. Thanks very much.

Call me ma'am,

not darling or ...

This goes out to all those folks who work in any kind of public service. I am a Ma'am. I am not a sweetie, a honey, a darlin', a dear. Please do not address me as any of these. I am not your loved one. I am a customer. Please address me a Ma'am and I'm sure the gentlemen like to be called Sir. Thank you very much.
