Funky rules

of the forest

Hello, everybody. I kinda like to issue a little warning to all you hunters . . . all US hunters. Anybody who loves to be outdoors. Mark Twain National Forest has some really funky rules. They give you two weeks to camp, but you've got to be gone for seven days maybe and then you come back another seven supposedly. No more than 21 days in a 30 day period. That's not much time to enjoy the woods if you're a naturalist like me. I've called my senators and my representative -- Cookson even hung up on me yesterday irritated. We need everyone to call our senators and our congressmen tell 'em to change these rules. You're not allowed to go down the road and move your camper. You have to get off the whole Mark Twain National Forest that means Carter, Butler, Wayne, Ripley all of it for seven days. It's a nightmare. It's a headache for those of us who hunt and love to fish and like to take a vacation. This is a step on our rights and our pursuit for life, liberty and happiness. Perfectly exactly like that. People, I urge you, make some calls, man. Make 'em listen to you! They work for us our senate and our congressmen work for us. Let 'em know you are not happy with this bind this puts us in. And they want to charge you and take you to federal court and it gets worse from there. So not only that but their attitudes park service law enforcement really pretty shabby. That's all I've got to say, people. Please, I urge you hunters and all you outdoorsmen, naturalists right now is the time you better start making calls --the time is here! Goodbye and have a good day.
