[MAIL] It's Past Time

Another comment on the local school situation. Discipline seems to be out of control in our local school system. At least in the upper grades. Disruption, and everything else that is taking place; apparently there no consequences. Hopefully the new superintendent will address the problem. No cell phones would be a good place to start. There is more to be done after the cell phones are gone.

Also it would be helpful if some parents would do their job. It all starts at home. Perhaps some adult education is in order.

It is way past time for these parents not to be allowed to use the tax payers schools to baby sit their kids. Misbehaving kids! Most students want order. Why it is not being enforced is beyond belief!

Discipline, Discipline, Discipline, alone will correct many problems. The teachers must be supported in this endeavor.

I have no school connection! But, I am a taxpayer demanding proper results. We are taxed to death from the Feds to the school. And we are not getting all that we pay for. Do it properly or refund the money. New buildings alone will not properly educate our youth.

Follow the rules

[MAIL] I would like to see Neelyville schools board members stand up and do the right thing where kids of board members are treated better than the rest of the kids. Every student should be expected to follow the rules.

No one should

be exempt

[MAIL] Neelyville school administrators should not expect the people of this community to vote for an increased school tax until they can conduct school business in a fair, professional, and trustworthy manner. Over the years, I have observed many instances where children of staff and board members were exempted from the rules that other students were made to follow. This should not be so.
