Kudos to the person that put that article comparing Poplar Bluff to Neelyville Schools in the March 17th issue of Speak Out.

My grandson has a learning disability and the teachers are supposed to be modifying his tests, reading the test out loud to him and putting him in a room by himself to take the test. They are doing none of this! All they can do is put him in the hall and call him "Lazy!" They are letting him fall through the cracks and needless to say his grades are falling more and more.

My daughter's friend has a son with disabilities and they were doing the same thing to him. She moved and put him in a different school and he is doing fine now. So, yes! I expect most any school around gets higher ratings than Poplar Bluff.

is too small

Yes, I would like to say that I totally agree with Speak Out article in Thursday, March 17, paper about the DAR print being too small. I'm an elderly person with weak eyes and it is very, very difficult to read the small print. I wish you'd go back to the original print or either make it large. Thank you.
