CORNING, Ark. -- Wilma "Polly" Hanner, 87, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. passed away March 30, 2016 at Westwood Hills Nursing Home in Poplar Bluff.
Mrs. Hanner was retired from the shoe factory. During her life, she also picked cotton. She enjoyed embroidering, quilting, game shows, computer games, and banana bingo. She was a member of Green Forest Church of Christ in Poplar Bluff.
On July 3, 1943 she married Galey Hanner. He preceded her in death on Jan. 16, 2012.
Survivors are children, Norma Jean (Joe) Calhoun of Jonesboro, Ark., Donna (Rick) Holden, Lonnie (Dawn) Hanner, and Pauletta (Dewayne) Burns, all of Poplar Bluff; brother, Joe Arnold of Bowling Green, Ky.; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; children, Ronnie Gale Hanner and Carolyn Sue Luttrell; parents, Bill and Lula (Tinker) Arnold; brothers, Jack and Don Arnold; and sisters, Kay Jarett, Wanda Barnett and Lucille Archer.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning, Ark. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Adam Noles officiating. Burial will follow in Hosea Cemetery in Knobel, Ark.
