Where was

Superman?

The epitome of arrogance. I wonder what happened to Superman in the Super Bowl? Good ball game. Thanks.

Well done, DMV

I'd like to say a word about the local DMV office in Poplar Bluff. Too often it gets a bad rap. Today, I went to the DMV office to get new tags. I arrived at 8:20 a.m. There were two other cars in the parking lot. I walked in and was greeted warmly by the staff. There was one other person in there obtaining their driver's license. The lady who helped me was warm and helpful and efficient. I walked out, mission accomplished at 8:30 a.m. I couldn't have received better service. I don't know what all the fuss has been about. I have always been pleased with the service I have received in this office. Today was no exception. Well done, DMV of Poplar Bluff.

Leaning that away

This New Hampshire Primary . . . these Iowa caucuses . . . people are saying they are leaning this way or they're leaning thataway. They've not made up their mind yet. They don't know what they're gonna do and all this stuff. And all of these billions of dollars being spent that could be spent on food and trade and stuff to help the poor man, the middle class and stuff just wasted and all they're doin' is 95 percent of 'em is already made up their mind. They know who they're gonna vote for --95 percent and the other five percent? They are all hypocritical liars. There you go. That's my perspective in a nutshell. Thank you.

Why screen

new patients?

I just want to ask all the doctors in this town why is it so difficult to get in to see you? Why does the patient have to be 'screened' before you decide if you want to treat them or not? Why is it that you will treat a patient with one thing but not another? Does a person really want a doctor who will only treat one ailment and no another? I ask because as a person who is seeking a new one; a decent reputable one, I am baffled at this interview process. Has the medical field gone down hill that much? Are the doctors that skeptical about patients using and abusing medications? Are the doctors just becoming lazy and don't really care about the patient's wellbeing? I really want to know this before throwing in the towel.
