December the 7th, 1941--a date which will live in infamy. Dec. 7th, 2015--not a mention of Pearl Harbor anywhere in the DAR! That's a shame!

Before judging

hear the facts

This is the person who is complaining about the person (Assistant Director) at the library driving a new shiny Lincoln SUV. In the first place it is not new. In the second, she deserves to own whatever she wants.

Being a single mother of two and making a living herself, she was never given anything. She grew up poor and in housing just like so many others. She has put herself through school and scratched out a living just like most of us.

She works 60 to 70 hours a week and sometimes on Saturday and Sunday since she is also the IT tech and organizes many of the events at the library.

So before you make judgment on my girl you need to check out your facts. She has worked tirelessly for the library since high school.

Yes, she drives a nice USED Lincoln SUV but it's the only extravagant thing she has spent her hard-earned money for. She lives just as moderately as everyone else.

As for cuts in the library that would be up to the library board. She has to follow rules like any working person.

The reason I know this is because I am her aunt and helped raise her. She never asked for anything. She worked for everything she owns and deserves it all. Judge not lest ye be judged!
