Looking for

my popcorn

I wonder if the Cub Scouts have finished delivering the popcorn they were taking orders from about two months ago? I was told at that time, they would be delivered on the 14th of Nov. I paid cash, and I did not get the Father's telephone number that was with the little boy. Thank you.

The kitten is in

mortal danger

I'm calling about the article in the paper about the man kicking the kitten across the floor 12 feet and then was arrested. They went there for a domestic dispute there and while the police were there he kicked the kitten. I sincerely hope somebody in the humane society or the animal control dept. will remove that kitten from that household. You understand when that man goes back he's going to blame the kitten for being arrested. The kitten's life is in danger. The woman can have a voice and speak out, but an animal left in that abusive home can't speak for itself. Please, somebody, do something before he hurts this . . . until it's dead.

Tip for RR

depot board

Hello, Speak Out. I would encourage anyone either interested or involved in the Missouri Pacific Depot in Poplar Bluff to take a trip to Russellville, Ark., and see what they have done with 1916 Missouri Pacific Depot. I feel like you all could get some valuable points.

Thank Lord for

Temple Bapt.

Yes. I wanted to say thank you very much to the good Lord for sending the people of Temple Baptist Church. I'm a widow-woman and I'd checked all over to find someone to help me move and so they called me and three men from the church. First of all there was a lady --I won't say her name, but she knows who she is--and that helped me move and she sent three men and they all three of them helped me move and I thank the good Lord for them and I thank them.

And I just wanted to call. I hope you print this so they will know how much I love and appreciate 'em. They are just a wonderful God-loving bunch of people and I love them and I know God does and I want to thank you for printing this if you do. I read Speak Out all the time. Every time it's in the paper and God bless everybody. Bye-bye. Have a blessed night.

Needing some

maple syrup

Yeah, there was a gentleman last year that was making maple syrup over by Williamsville. I tell you that was the best syrup I ever ate in my life. He brought me a little of it and I tell you it was really good. I wanted to call and tell him I have his jar for him. So maybe he'll see this and give me a holler.
