I am totally in shock that New Wave CableVision has pulled yet another stunt! Channel 3--KPOB--is now the weather in Centerville, Ill. Channel 3 had perfectly fine television shows on it. New Wave thinks we'd prefer to know the weather of an out-of-state town, I suppose. It's unbelievable. Please I'm begging the people of Poplar Bluff to join me in protest --to call them. If enough people call it might do some good, I don't know. They're going to keep raising the rates. They're going to keep taking away programs if we don't stand up and be heard!

Oh, they'll say it's out of their control and make various excuses. They are just ripping the people off. The bottom line is the CEO is getting rich on the backs of the cable subscribers. It is unbelievable! We need to actually start calling our Congressmen, I suppose.
