gun owners

We are advised to not judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics. But we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works.

Welfare and

Social Security

Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. How come we never hear about welfare running out of money? What's interesting is the first group worked for their money, but the second didn't.

Roundabouts

are not safe

Who in our state highway department is designing these wonderfully horrific little roundabouts intersections similar to those that are used in France and Europe. Frankly that particular idiot needs to be fired. Either that or the motorists of our state need to be retrained in how to observe and understand what a yield sign stands for.

Having spent five weeks in Cape Girardeau and seen 36 accidents at the roundabouts in that community alone one truly wonders just how safe this particular highway design really is. Is it all the fault of the drivers. I wouldn't think so being that most people just rip right through the yield sign without any other care to any traffic that might be in the roundabout.

So maybe it's time our state takes a second look at the accidents that are occurring at these sites and maybe change them back to a more conventional intersection.

I wonder how the insurance industry feels about this. I'm sure that they don't like paying out for all the claims that are occurring at these idiotic roundabouts, do you?
