Gary J. Beckham
MALDEN, Mo. -- Gary J. Beckham, 67, departed this life on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the Golden Living Center in Malden.
He was born on March 24, 1948 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. to the late Homer J. Beckham and Lindy Lou Losh Beckham.
Mr. Beckham was a farmer, co-founder of the Flat Landers Tractor Club of Malden, Church Trustee for several years, fireman for the Malden Fire Department for 37 years, Sexton of the Elder Cemetery and served on the board, Bootheel Car Club, Gerald Blake Car Club and on the board of Tucker Cemetery. On May 26, 1967 he was united in marriage to Janet Lamunion Beckham in Campbell, Mo.. She survives of the home in Campbell.
His other survivors include: daughter, Jennifer Krepps and husband, Kurt of Campbell; four granddaughters: Kennady, Graceyn, Kaylyn and Channing Krepps of Campbell; three brothers: Larry Beckham and wife, Carolyn of Malden, Mike Beckham of Poplar Bluff and Tim Beckham and wife, Janette of Malden; sister: Connie Beckham of Malden; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. held on Saturday, Aug. 1, at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, with Rev. Jerry Williams, Rev. Gary Long and Dawsey Lee Brown officiating. Interment will be in the Elder Cemetery in Campbell.
