Downtown PB says, Thanks for making July 4th a success

To the Editor:

Downtown Poplar Bluff would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to those involved in making Poplar Bluff's annual 4th of July parade and fireworks a great success. The fireworks would not be possible without the gracious sponsorship from Briggs & Stratton.

Thank you to Fox Radio Network for their gracious donation of parade trophies, the Daily American Republic and River Radio for advertising, City of Poplar Bluff Street Department, Poplar Bluff Police and Fire Department, and David Johnson. We would like to extend a special thank you to those who worked and/or volunteered to make these two wonderful events happen in Downtown Poplar Bluff.

Winners of the parade were 1st place Home Depot, 2nd Hackworth Family, 3rd Amvets and honorable mentions were given to Hefner's Furniture, Butler County Fire Department, and Three Rivers Shrine Club.
