Money making consequences

Just read the article on the front page of the DAR regarding Bricks and how the community can use the money these events bring. However, all I could think about when I was reading this article was the family that is going thru hell now from the last event. Ms. Garner is paralyzed from the neck down and fights daily for her life. Note that was not mentioned, only that someone was seriously injured in an accident. An accident that was caused from a person leaving Bricks, driving drunk and colliding with Ms. Garner, who was simply trying to drive home. While the Garners are left to cope with the consequences of Bricks not protecting the community from their "Money Maker" and will deal with these consequences for the rest of their lives, I am sure the Brickell family has already forgotten about them and their struggles. I can only pray the Garners obtain a good lawyer.
