To the Editor:

The family of SSgt. Eric Summers would like to thank all who made the 2nd Annual SSgt Eric Summers Play for Honor Golf Tournament and Silent Auction a success. We would not have been able to raise funds for the Butler County Veterans' Memorial Wall without you. Thank you players because without you, there would not have been a tournament. We hope you enjoyed the day. Thank you to family and friends who worked the tournament and dinner. A big thank you to World War II vet Edgar Wilhelm and his family for being part of our ceremony. Thank you American Legion Post 153 Honor Guard for your part in honoring those who gave their lives for our country. We thank everyone who bought T-shirts, raffle tickets, and items at the silent auction. We would like to give a special thank you to Paul Tucker and 1st Missouri State Bank. We cannot express our appreciation enough for the following businesses and individuals who sponsored and donated to our tournament: First Missouri State Bank, Sons of the American Legion, American Legion Post 153, Luecke Distributing, Kohlfield Distributing, Bluff City Beer, Ozark Golf Association, Edward Jones--Andrew Phelan, Semo Satellite, Butler County EMS, Walmart, Barbara J.
