Clifford Eugene Dicken
NEELYVILLE, Mo. -- Clifford Eugene Dicken, 83, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015 at Westwood Hills Healthcare Center. He was born Aug. 14, 1931 in Harviell to the late Wiloby Dicken and Alice Bellamy Dicken.
He was married to Leah Lou Jackson who preceded him in death on Aug. 13, 1970. He then married Thelma Ruth who preceded him in death. On Sept. 5, 1992 at Poplar Bluff, he was married to Leota Epps. She survives.
Mr. Dicken was also preceded in death by his parents and one son, Frank Dicken and three brothers, Roy, Eldon, and Jimmy Dicken
Surviving are children; Steve Dicken of Poplar Bluff, Kenny Dicken and wife Nancy of Neelyville, Mike Dicken and wife Lisa of Mason City, Iowa; step children, Joy Whitaker of California, Mo., Gay Berthold and husband Ricky and Melody Berthold and husband Randy, all of Perry, Mo. and Richard Spradley Jr. and wife Kathleen of Evans, Ga.; two grandchildren; Joseph and wife Alice and Steven and three great-grandchildren; Holden, Henry and Kara as well as 12 step-grandchildren and 20 step-great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by four sisters, Maxine Ice and Barbara Winters, both of Poplar Bluff, Frieda Blagg of Harviell and Brenda Deese of Tennessee and two brothers, Curt Dicken and wife Wanda of Poplar Bluff and Richard Dicken and wife Kay of Paragould, Ark.
He enjoyed cattle farming and his cows. He had served In the United States Navy during the Korean War.
Visitation will start at 6 p.m. Monday in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville. The funeral will be Tuesday starting at 1 p.m. in the Neelyville chapel. Burial will be in the Dicken Cemetery with Mike Dicken and Rev. Jimmy Gilbert officiating.
