Disappointed

in New Wave

Yes, I am very disappointed in New Wave. I'm in my 90s and I know people in nursing homes depend on their TV for Sunday church. And we can't have it because they don't have it on TV and they won't have. They say it's out of market and we all need our church on Saturday night and Sunday mornings.

crook, go big

Hello, Speak Out. You know I'll betcha if you went down to Walmart and you stole a $20 pair of shoes that you'd get arrested and then you'd get thrown in jail. But, if you're hired by a city council to do a job you can steal millions, which there's no difference between stealing and misappropriation. But apparently you don't go to jail for it so the point is--if you're gonna be a crook, be a big crook! The little guys go to jail.

Malpractice

for city mgrs.?

I just wondered, do city managers have to call malpractice insurance? If they don't, they should. Just look at the shape Poplar Bluff is in. Ha! Ha!
