Just mail your

license off

I've seen repeated articles in the paper complaining of the license bureau here in Poplar Bluff and how slow it is and the possibility of going to another town. If you read the information carefully when you get your report from the state about your license all you have to do mail it in to the state --all the information is there-- they have very prompt services. Of course this applies only to the licenses not the driver's licenses.

Fix our sewers

Mr. Kaplan

Yes, I have a question for Mr. Kaplan. Since he loves to spend OUR money in Poplar Bluff, I'm a city taxpayer so is everybody else down here in Idlewild and it is the city responsibility to take care of our sewer. And the muddy water is coming in our toilets. We are having surges several times and sometimes all night long keeping us awake, so since Mr. Kaplan wants to spend so much money so why doesn't he come down here and fix our sewer? So that way we would not have a problem. I would really appreciate this. Well, Mr. Kaplan, try to figure out what is the most important thing in the world. Lettin' our city employees off with pay or fixing our sewers in our city which our tax money is for?

Mis-manager

I have put this off as long as I can. I am absolutely furious about the way this City "Mis-Manager" is running through OUR money and complaining because there isn't enough to satisfy him! Funny isn't it? We had enough before he happened on the scene! We can cure a part of that! GET RID OF HIM! The exorbitant salary he is being paid, plus the salaries of a Grant Writers, and as if that isn't enough, an assistant Grant Writer, now he wants an assistant City Manager, wants to raise the utility bills, is stupid enough to give everybody a day off for a plate of spaghetti! I could go on and on. How asinine can he get? Load up his junk and his cronies and send them back where they came from!
