Issue with bus routes

I would like to know what percentage of each of these schools do the children actually ride the school buses. I realize the vast majority of the children who are being brought to school do not qualify for bus service because they fall within that one mile radius where bus services are denied. However, Poplar Bluff doesn't have sidewalks where school children and their parents to walk to school safely on and the stop sign was taken out on Barron Road that you could walk across Barron Road to go to O'Neal and that's keeping people from walking from the subdivision on the opposite side of the road. So since the vast majority I know of O'Neal students don't get to ride the bus why did we not follow snow route procedure? Why on the day where there . . . what do we care that the kids who live out in the county why can't their parents bring them up to the snow route? Because if you can't get out of your houses and they can't get out to the road what percentage of school children was that? What percentage could actually have been brought to school? Is what I am getting at. And (who on the) school board people actually support a snow route procedure? I think it was ridiculous how many days we have missed. I realize we have had snow, but there's lots of days when all around the school it was just fine. We have to drop there every other day of the year so what does it matter to us?

I really feel like the parents that live within the one mile radius that have service cut off are not being heard.
