Send him

packing

Well I can't stand the stupidity of the City manager and the City Council. It looks like if the rest of the Poplar Bluff citizens don't need to pay what they owe the city. After all if they won't go after Becker and the $200,000. They surely wont go after 500 hundred of us that didn't pay our water, cable or electric bill. I don't think they have room in jail for all of us or could afford to feed us and cloth us in those nice orange jump suits.

I think its time that we get moving van lined up from Muscle Relocation and Send Mr. Kaplan and on his way to Michigan or Texas, anywhere but here. Don't forget to load up the three council members who continually side with him and send them packing also. As far as paid escort by police and other law enforcement to block the intersections as they all leave Poplar Bluff, the DONATIONS would come pouring in to cover that expense. Probably enough to cover a Celebration Parade.

A previously bankrupt individual now going to do the same to the city. In Tuesday's DAR, the last paragraph of the front page article where he referred to David Silverberg, truly a quality citizen and employee DAR, but his reference to the rest of them certainly shows his intelligence or lack thereof. Folks we need to send him packing.

Very, Very Concerned.

Thanks MoDOT, Patrol team

Thanks, again, MoDOT and Highway Patrol Emergency Team for a job well done and for all the nuts out there that just had to go out to get a loaf of bread with all the ice, sleet, snow and cold --you should be calling and thanking, too, for clearing the roads for you when they asked all to stay in so they could do their job, which they done a fantastic job. And I appreciate them very much. Thank you so much.

Kaplan needs

to apologize

I am appalled that city manager Kaplan would call someone "not human." How could anyone with any character make such a statement? He should apologize. Thank you.

Schrieber's

article great

What a great article by Mr. Schrieber in Sunday's paper. Packed with facts. Something we haven't been getting. The only thing I was disappointed in he wasn't able to give us information about the city manager's bankruptcy. It would be interesting to know the details of that.
