Stop going

out of town

When leaders such as our city manager wants to use an out of town firm because he's familiar with them, this usually means that there is a kickback coming. Now, this is very, very hard to prove as anyone who has been in politics, like I have for many years, know this is the name of the game. Let's stop approving this city manager going out of town. The council can refuse to accept his recommendation. Let's do it!

Innocent until

proven guilty

It's a terrible thing for anyone to be killed whether it's an accident or shot by law enforcement while in the act of breaking the law. Ferguson, Mo. has fueled the fire that has been brewing for some time. The NAACP and people like Al Sharpton do nothing else but wait for something like this to happen so they can have an excuse to use media to make things way worse.

Al Sharpton has been allowed to say terrible things about white people and if it were a white man saying this about black people they would want his head.

If the officer in Ferguson is really guilty of wrongdoing, let the court systems take care of him, but I'm sure he's supposed to be presumed innocent until proven guilty.
