Sold a

bill of goods

Poplar Bluff, you've been sold a bill of goods by your wonderful City Council. In selling off the City Cable not only has the quality gone down the drain but that service you used to receive here locally and by that I mean you could sit there and call the New Wave Cable hotline for problems and the problem will remain for days at a time. Remember when Channel 46 was out of sound for four days or Channel 32 just the other day -- no sound again. But today here Friday of course it's the weekend Channel 77 has been out again since midnight. Are you tried of getting the same excuse of sun spots are causing the problem? And are you tired for paying for such poor service? Remind them the next time you go in to pay your cable bill and ask them truthfully when is the service going to come up to the somewhat poor standards that even City Cable was able to achieve? Because right now New Wave is circling the drain and I don't see any improvement in the future.
