Newspaper

to blame, too

Hello I live just outside of Poplar Bluff so I am highly affected by things that go on in Poplar Bluff even though I cannot vote. It seems to me like this newspaper has been really down on the new city council from the very beginning and I would like to know why is it so different for a councilman, who I don't agree with posting what he did on his Facebook, but how is that so different than when the newspaper put the same picture in the paper for even more people to see? I think it was bad for the newspaper to do it just as well as it was for the councilman.

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones!

Let's all

be nannies

Speak Out, I just saw on the morning TV show that the average wage for a nanny is $17.44 per hour. That's better money than 98 percent of the jobs in Butler County? Why is there such disconnect between money and Butler County and the rest of the world? I thought Pemiscot County was bad. Maybe, not!

Tinsley post

was offensive

Yes, I'm calling about Tinsley and the hullabaloo that's going on now with the what he posted on his Facebook page. I'm white and I don't live in his ward and I am very offended by what he did and there are several other white people in this town that are offended too. And the newspaper keeps saying the black community is offended and I have news there are plenty of white people out there who are offended also. That was not something he should have ever done being a public servant.
