Where's the money going?

[website] The big push to increase the sales tax in Missouri by 3/4 cents is suppose to improve the highways and bridges. Have you wondered who is sponsoring this initiate and why? I would like to bet it is none other than the big highway contracts greedy for more funds. Missouri doesn't need more taxes. We already pay 17 cents per gallon of gas that is suppose to go to the highway department. However the tax on gasoline has for years gone into the general tax fund to support Missouri give away programs. Plus the Federal tax rate is 35.7 cents per gallon which is also suppose to go to roads and highways, but who knows where that money goes. Tell all those pushing for more taxes that "I'm voting NO on August 5"!

Where's

the beef?

Everyone has noticed the increase in food pricing this past six years and by that I mean under the Obama Administration, we've found that our food prices have nearly doubled. Is this by accident or is this one way that these socialist pigs want to nudge us into eating better so the Affordable Care Act will actually start working for them.

Another thing that I've noticed is that as these food prices are soaring people that are offering products to us like say even common hamburger are now starting to cheat that very system and treat the people like the idiots that they are, and by that I mean, you used to be able to buy beef like graded at 90/10 in other words 90 percent beef and 10 percent fat. Notice the sudden shift here as prices have gone up? That now even some of the "best" beef that you get, particularly prepared items, is 75/25 instead of the 80/20 we've had before? That's right, America, we're getting fed more fat and less lean beef when we're getting our hamburger now. All because , guess what? Fat is a waste product. Until beef becomes so expensive that they just don't want to sell it at a reasonable price any more, so they grind more fat, keeping their profits high and the stupid public scratching their heads.

Yes, it's a fun world out here. Are you happy with all of your hopes and dreams yet?

Regulate

Facebook

Hi, This is about Facebook. I do not have Facebook because I think there's too much personal information out there and the people that are putting it out there are too young to even have Facebook. I think it should be regulated and I think you should be 21 years or older to get on it. I think it should be regulated that you have to prove that you are 21 and I listen to the radio stations. I shop in the stores, but why do I have to have Facebook in order to enter your contests or to find out is going on?

I just think I cannot be the only one who does not like Facebook and does not have a Facebook account and I feel we are being discriminated against because of Facebook. That's it! That's my soap opera for the day. Thank you.

Wasting money

On Monday, July the 21st the Daily American Republic reported that the vice-president of Three Rivers College left and submitted her resignation effective immediately and that the Board of Trustees accepted it. I would like to know why we are continuing to pay someone who wants to leave the college? To me that is a waste of taxpayer money and the president also resigned and left to take a sabbatical and if these people wanting out of their contracts and wanting to leave we should not have to pay them out of our tax dollars.

Who's spending gas tax receipts?

Yeah, I'm calling about MoDOT and them other big shots at the Highway Dept. I've been watching on television where they're wanting to raise taxes to build roads and everything just to maintain 'em. We raised the price of gas a few years back and put taxes on it supposed to went to the highways and where did the money go? In their pockets? Don't the people think our taxes in Missouri are high enough? If they fix the roads it won't be here it will be Kansas City and St. Louis and southeast Missouri don't get nothing!

Thank you for Speak Out. I hope you print this.
