State aid

is misguided

I want to know why the state of Missouri will not give my Granddaughter (mother of two) 30 yrs. old WITH a pacemaker that is going out in 30 days, help for her hospital and doctor bills but people who do drugs and crimes can get aid from the state in a minute.

It was the

old city council

I was reading a while back, "Working for Citizens." Well, you know, the guys a little bit mistaken or the lady one because they said, think about this the next time you vote the city council out and let the city manager do what he wants. It was the OLD city council and the city manager that sold the cable company without any very much notice everything and not much talk about it. The city manager made the deal unbeknownst to the public and the city council voted to do it. So it was the old city council and the city manager that did it. This new city council never had nothing to do with it. So he or she needs to get his/her facts straight.

Police road

block response

This is in response to the article written by Bill Cox about police road blocks being illegal.

Mr.Cox you failed to mention where you attended and received your law degree. Oh you don't have one? Well then it seems your article is just an opinion then.

I would rather have police officers conduct roadblocks to check for drunk drivers or other law breaking citizens than to have an accident caused by someone who crosses the centerline and hits me head on.

It seems you mentioned a few times "I heard" of others having things happen to them. For your information the prescription bottle that contains the medication is where the medication should stay. If you take it out and put it in another container then you are breaking the law. And what do law enforcement officers do? They enforce the law when someone breaks it. Do you think it's ok for most of us to buy insurance for our cars and others to drive without it? There is nothing wrong with someone checking to make sure "all" are complying.

I bet ya the guy that crosses that centerline and hits you head on won't have insurance. Then the burden for your car repair, medical bills or what ever else you have to incur will be your burden.
