Thank you Charles!

Having been with air-conditioning for almost two weeks was almost inbearable here a few weeks back. It was just repaired recently by a technician by the name of Charles. Yes, you heard me right, Charles! He works for one of the local HVAC companies here in Butler County and I just simply want to say this: his boss at Precision Heat & Air needs to give that man a raise. My air-conditioning is running like it was nearly 20 years ago instead of constantly struggling. You see, Charles saw the value of my older air-conditioning unit and being that it was one would act better repaired than replaced. Odd how other technicians that looked at it had condemned everything from the condenser to the compressor and other problems. Where all it was was just a damaged service valve. He replaced it and repaired my air-conditioner. Something you really don't see much of. He actually repairing something to save the homeowner the high cost of replacement, so, again, Charles and Precision, at BIG thank you from me and my wife. Being both disabled being without air was nearly unbearable and again a hearty shout out and thank you to your company and to you, Charles, thank you for allowing us to remain in our home and again regain our health. Thank you. Thank you very much.

Common sense budgeting means nothing!

I'd really appreciate it someone could explain to me why tax money is being used to pay people who have quit their job? I'll bet that if someone working at the DAR quit their job, their pay would stop right then. I'll bet that if somebody working at Briggs & Stratton quit their job, their pay would stop right then. Is the difference that it's tax money so they don't really, like a board of trustees doesn't really fell like its somebody's money, it's just a pot of money that comes to 'em and it's like just dipping water out of a bucket and pouring it out on the ground and it just really doesn't matter because none of the people involved in dispensing this money had to work their heinie's off to make it? And, if they need more money they'll just raise tuition or they'll see about getting a bigger tax assessment because it doesn't mean anything to 'em. There's no reason. Frugality means nothing! Common sense budgeting means nothing! But it is absolutely ignorant beyond belief that anyone would be continued to be paid after quitting a job. I hope you've got the guts to print this!

Kidding self about downtown

Them old guys down at the VFW, they don't wanna be drinkin' anyway, but the people in the city are kidding themselves if they think downtown is ever gonna be anything beside junk! Thank you.

Where's the

child support?

The prosecuting attorney in Butler County needs to take a very close look at his Child Support Division. My sister who has three kids has had a case for five years and hasn't received any bit of child support from her husband in that amount of time. She has done everything that they told her to do and still to this day they have done absolutely nothing to try to help her. Mr. Barbour, I think you need to take a very close look at your Child Support Division and see if you can make improvements because it is failing the women that are supposed to be getting child support. Thanks.
