Don't mislead

America

A few years back in our country's history there used to be a law on the books called "The Truth in Advertising." When it came to advertising products on the American airways, well, apparently that doesn't work anymore in America. The reason why I'm saying this --a recent Volkswagen advertisement that advertising their new TDI clean diesel. No mind you Volkswagen is bragging that the 789 miles single tank driving range will take you from Los Angeles to Philadelphia, Pa. Volkswagen needs to check their mileage because even using the straightest shot that truck drivers use it's 2783 miles from Los Angeles to Philadelphia. So, Volkswagen, please don't mislead America. There are people who actually know how to use atlases and that distances from point a to point b aren't a single tank of fuel in your car no matter how you want to advertise it. So, please, Volkswagen, have your advertising department stop misleading America. Of course, then again, how many people actually care. They'll believe anything as long as it comes off of television. Remember the advertisements for Walmart being the cheapest in America? What a joke that was!
