A life saved and an experience cherished

To the Editor,

About six weeks ago, my husband was admitted to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center under the care of Dr. Ziomek. I believe this incredible surgeon saved my husband's life. After the surgery the doctor was right there every step of the way.

We spent close to three weeks at the hospital where we received excellent care. Every person, in every capacity from housekeeping to doctors, nurses, etc. treated us with kindness, compassion and were so good to us. We were just so impressed with the care we received.

Then, we were on to about 2 1/2 weeks of rehab at the Poplar Bluff Regional Rehab Center. These people are amazing! Same thing, housekeepers, aides, nurses, doctor and therapists were absolutely wonderful. You knew they were there because they really wanted to help us. Justin, Brandon and Rita worked so hard to help us day in and day out, always cheerful, encouraging and so great at what they did.

I just cannot say enough good about our experience. Thank you all so much and may God bless you.
