Take care

of animals

People who own dogs should either train them not to bark constantly, keep them indoors or not live inside city limits. I live on Ethel Street here in Poplar Bluff. At least three of my neighbors on this block have dogs chained outside that often bark off and on day and night. Even worse, during our recent bitter cold weather and winter storms, these dogs were left outside and ignored howling in misery. The police department doesn't want to hear about it. If there is some other officers that can be contacted in this local area, I would appreciate someone calling Speak Out to inform the public about the phone numbers or addresses where this can be reported. Thank you.

Build a south

McDonald Land

Yeah, Ronald McDonald Land. I want to make a complaint. I'm in a wheelchair, but I take my grandchildren out every once in a while to McDonald's and I can sit there and enjoy them, sitting there eatin' a bite -- a Big Mac or something while they're sliding or having fun. But I live out here close to the one in South Poplar Bluff and they don't have a playland. I have to hire someone to take all the way to the north McDonald's so they can play on them things while I enjoy a Big Mac-- and I really enjoy the Big Mac, but I think it's a shame that they didn't put games in for little kids in the South Poplar Bluff McDonald's. I know it costs a lot of money but there's return when them little kids some in there and then when they grow up bring their kids in there. I think they really oughta think about adding on an extra room there. Now somebody's gonna write in and say they've got the park right there beside of it. It ain't the same when there's snow on the ground and it's rainy and there's mud, so please think about adding another room and puttin' the toys and stuff in there for the little kids. And, you people who are gonna say Whitely Park. You go to Whitely Park during the snow and the sleet. Thank you. God bless McDonald's and America.

Unhappy with Wallingford

I think it's terrible that Senator Wayne Wallingford from Cape doesn't think bigotry and intolerance should be left in Arizona, but wants to bring it to Missouri and make that the law of land as well. That's discriminatory and terrible! Thank you.
