Thanks to helpers in Linda Leone benefit

To the Editor:

Friends of Linda Leone would like to thank all who made her benefit on Sunday, Feb. 16, a success: all who donated, attended and generously bid at the auction, and to the Board of the Broseley Senior Center who allowed us to use the facilities.

Special thanks to Carol Brotherton and her kitchen staff who spent hours working on their day off, and to C. Doc Mitchell and his staff who donated their expertise for the auction.

Others who contributed to our success by providing advertising are: Quality Printing, The Daily American Republic, Fox Radio, KOKS and KDEX. Businesses assisting were: (Broseley/Qulin) Pam's Family Hair Care, MFA, Dollar General, Qulin Farm Store, M & M Sales/Service, Hopkins Seed/Chemical, D & J Concrete Yard Ornaments, Parts City; (Poplar Bluff) Key Drug, Orscheln and Hastings.

Together we raised nearly $3,000 to help Linda and her children with their medical and living expenses until she is able to go back to work/
