Wappapello church appreciates help

To the Editor:

On Dec. 18, 2013 Lake Wappapello United Methodist Church gave away 204 family Christmas food baskets and gave toys to 101 children during our annual Christmas basket give-a-way.

Thank you for all the hours you unselfishly devoted to this project purchasing toys, gloves & hats, sorting through all the food, and putting the toy baskets and food baskets together. God truly shines through each of you!

Thank you all so much for making this a better Christmas for those less fortunate in Wayne County.
