Wappapello church appreciates help

To the Editor:

On Dec. 18, 2013 Lake Wappapello United Methodist Church gave away 204 family Christmas food baskets and gave toys to 101 children during our annual Christmas basket give-a-way.

Lake Wappapello United Methodist Church would like to thank the following people for their unfailing love and support to make this event a huge success: Larry Hillis Dodge, Christians Against Hunger, Greenville New Prospect Baptist Church, Our Lady of Sorrows, Little Brushy Missionary Baptist Church, New Life Baptist Church, Faith Baptist Church, Coldwater United Methodist Church, Greenville United Methodist Church & Women's Group, , Wappapello Lions Club, Wappapello VFW Post 3416 and Ladies Auxiliary, Wappapello Peoples community Bank, Bell City United Methodist Church, Woods Medical Clinic, Wappapello Eagle Riders, Greenville Jr. & Sr. Beta Club, Boy Scout Troop 415, Kathy Wilkey & the Wappapello Volunteer Fire Department, Sundowners, Alice's One Stop, Wappapello Lumber, Wright Insurance Agency, Nancy's Restaurant, Donna Almond, Sherry Szczblewski, Glenn Kuehle, Donald & April Piland, Rodney & Shelly Wolfe, Judy Daves, Pat & Ottis Morrow, Annetta Williams, Ruth & Lonnie Hargrove, Erma Michael, Darrel & Shirley Schweitzer, Allan & Wilma Hawley, Cheryl Billings, Jim & Maryann Cuda, and the cities of Coldwater, Silva, Williamsville, Greenville, and Wappapello. To the members of the Lake Wappapello United Methodist Church: YOU PEOPLE ARE AWESOME! Thank you. Thank you for all the hours you unselfishly devoted to this project purchasing toys, gloves & hats, sorting through all the food, and putting the toy baskets and food baskets together. God truly shines through each of you!

Thank you all so much for making this a better Christmas for those less fortunate in Wayne County.
