Yes. I'm calling in about the Social Security increase. I'm an old man, 69 years old, and I draw social security. Well, they had me to take food stamps --$24, they used to be $40 and they keep cuttin' it down every time there's a cost-of-living raise, but this time we got a 1.9 per cent raise. People think hey, man, they draw a lot of food stamps. Well, I draw $24 a month and they just sent me a letter dated 12-7-13 telling me that since I got a 1.9 percent increase in my social security they are reducing my stamps of $24 a month. Why don't they just take them and stick them where it hurts. You know it ain't worth the hassle having to fill out the paperwork for $19 a month. And every time you get a little raise, the state takes it away from you. It's like robbing Peter to pay Paul. They claim they try to take care of people. They don't! It's pitiful. I'd rather they not even give 'em to me. Thank you, and God bless America, but our state run by Republicans sucks!
