Wake up and

do something

Speaking out about kids in Poplar Bluff. We need an outreach program. We need churches to get out there go door-to-door inviting people to church. There's just so many kids out on the street and a lot of kids in the Bluff are not cared for. With so many things going on in Poplar Bluff, we need a big outreach. We can do it, people. We can pull together and do this. This needs to be done. Churches, wake up, and get out there and work. C'mon, you've got at least five minutes of your time a day to do this or even at work invite someone to church. Do somethin' for the community. And, yeah, it's Thanksgiving. Did you give anybody any food this year? Did you go and check on people? Did you check on the elderly and make sure they're gonna have Thanksgiving? I'm sure a lot of kids and a lot of older people that are gonna go hungry Thanksgiving and Christmas is coming up. Buy an extra coat for a kid or an older, elderly person. Do somethin'. Do somethin' this year. Wake up! This is Poplar Bluff the "Show-U" city in the "Show-Me" state. Let's show 'em. Let's reach out. Let's help our fellow man cause the government sure ain't doin' it.
