A guy in the "Letter to the Editor" the other day said, "The deficit had been reduced 50 percent in the last five years." That guy must have had a brain injury or his trailer doesn't have internet. Thank you.

Is staff really supportive?

The DAR ran an article in the paper last week about the Neelyville staff so appreciative of their bosses. Well, if they are appreciative of their bosses, how come that 19 employees resigned and quit over the summer? They were not given their contracts back and there's a lot more things going on than just appreciation for employees. KFVS may be investigating why 19 employees did not have their contracts. Can the DAR check on this and see why? Thank you.

Why did so many staff leave?

I am a concerned parent and I have my child in school in Neelyville and I read in the DAR about appreciating the bosses. This summer there were more than 19 people who did not return (old teachers and new teachers) and due to the administration. Could the DAR please do a story why all of these employees left the Neelyville School District? As a concerned parent I've very disturbed about all the teachers that have left. Very, very good teachers. Please, please investigate and do a story on why all these employees left a small school district? Thank you.

Buy new flag

Fitch Funeral Home needs to buy a new American flag or not fly one. They're just tattered and torn and that's a disgrace to fly one that looks like that. Thank you.

Hiring pattern

Since I don't use computers somehow I hope Cape Channel 12 News will get this message. Why are you hiring so many women on your newscast and no new men? It seems like your prejudice. Also I know you can hire more at less hours and pay no insurance. Men need jobs to take care of their families. Nothing against the women personally as I know none of them. Thank you.
