Barron and W

Yes, we hope that the section of road from Barron Road to W Highway will be put back. It is a very dangerous to get on Barron Road off of Highway 67 the way it is now if you are coming off of W Highway or coming from 67 North and still trying to off there. I come through there at the time of day that traffic isn't really heavy like it is at other times and the stop sign northbound traffic the cars were all the way down passed where the turnoff would be is you were trying to off at Barron Road off of 67. People coming south was trying to get in there they would be in danger of gettin' hit and those goin' north is always in danger goin' across there. Very dangerous. And we're hopin' that they will put it back. Doesn't look like they're startin' to, but we're hopin' they will. There's traffic on W Highway from the apartment complex that is there now, 60 East, the Manor, McLane Park, O Highway, lake traffic, KK Highway and many county roads with many families just to name a few. Traffic gets really heavy. We're really hopin' that it will be put back because it would better for the businesses and apartment complexes that's going in on that big spot the cleared out when they covered up. It would be better for them also traffic-wise. Anyway, I hope you print this. This is my opinion and I'm sure lots of people agree. Thank you.

Yes, this is for the DAR. I am so tired of all the pictures in the paper day after day. It's been going on forever. That's not what I buy the paper for and if you'll check your records you've probably already seen some loss. I will be, too, when my subscription is up.

Children learn

I just read in the front page of your newspaper from the Fifth and Sixth Grade Center that it was just a lot of low scores and things like this and I'm not making this call to be judgmental or anything like that, but what I would like to relay is I have been in school and I've heard the teachers scream and yell at the kids. In the cafeteria they scream and yell at the kids and it's intimidating and it makes you feel less than a human being. I know some allow student teachers to come in and the teachers sit there allow the student teachers to scream and yell at the kids. And I find fault with this. They're children! They should be treated as young children. Not scream and yell at them. Sometimes they go home just screaming and yelling after being in screaming and yelling all day. That's all I have to say. I hope you don't think this is a put-down because it is not intended for that. Thank you very much.
