FISK, Mo. -- Wanda Lee Wagster, 81, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 15, 1931, at Fisk, the daughter of the late Leon C. and Marie Darby Collard. She was a member of Eastern Star, Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion and the Eagles. She enjoyed bowling and had formerly been on a Missouri State Championship team. She was co-owner of Wagster Auction Service, and was a former board member of the Missouri State Auctioneers Association. She was later a Real Estate agent until her retirement.
She was married to John Franklin Wagster on Nov. 8, 1947. He preceded her in death on Oct. 8, 1987.
She is survived by one son, David Wagster and wife, Starla, of French Village, Mo.; two daughters, Charlotte Wagster of New York, N.Y., and Michelle Wagster of Poplar Bluff; one granddaughter, Rebecca Jean Miller of Columbia, Mo.; two great grandchildren, Hayden and Ellery Grace Miller; one brother, Kenneth Collard; and two sisters, Anna Marie Hulsey and Linda Hopkins.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard Collard, Carl Collard; and one sister, Leigh Clark.
Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m. today at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will begin 10 a.m. Tuesday at Westwood Center Chapel in Poplar Bluff with Elijah Collard officiating. A luncheon gathering will follow the service at the Westwood Center. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. in Brown Chapel Cemetery at Broseley.
