Yeah, this is about the pawn shops around Butler County. When you engrave something in big, bold letters all over it--This is stolen from such and such person. Please call the local police department w/the police department phone number--and the pawn shop goes ahead and buys it and resells it. To me, wouldn't that be the same a stealing? I've had two things stolen from me and they went through local pawn shops to other people and then the other people called and let me know about it. So pawn shops stop stealing people's stuff when you know it's stolen! When it says call the police department that it's stolen, call the police department! Thank you. God bless.

has its flaws

As an concerned elderly citizen of Butler County, I'm really concerned about all these break outs. I think that jail was flawed from the first. Billy Jean Ripee escaped and went up through the ceiling of the hole one time and up on top of the building and shimmied down the front of it ( It was in the paper) on a water hose and got away and was gone for two or three months before they finally caught him. And now these guys crawl through a space and down through the lobby and escape. I think we need to hire some outside agency to come in and inspect that jail. Something is definitely wrong. You know when you got people in there for murder and they can just crawl out that easy and get away, it's dangerous! We gotta do something about this, but that Ripee boy escaped and now here these guys escaped. I'll tell you something's got to be done!
