Maybe it

costs too much

I would like to add my two cents worth to the lady's letter about the hard of hearing on TV commercials all I can hear is from captions also even Channel 17 the home town preacher. I can't hear or watch because of no captions. I talk to my preacher. I can't hear because of no captions, but nothing had been changed. Maybe it cost too much.

Maintain our

gravel roads

Can someone tell us rural folks what the county is spending our tax money on? Our gravel road was graded two times in 2012. There are holes all over! The gravel, what little their is, is pushed to the side from traveling, water runs down the road, because we really need ditches. They haven't anything done in a long time.

Has our county got as unsettled as federal government?

Several voters and taxpayers live on county roads. If they don't want to maintain gravel roads!! How about blacktop them?

Thanks on

behalf of mom

This is for the nice person at Kneibert Clinic who returned my mother's purse. Mom had left it on a wheelchair and didn't realize until she got back to Ellsinore and when we got back [to Kneibert Clinic] somebody had returned it to the Radiology desk and everything was still there: her money, her credit card, her checkbook, everything. I just wish somebody would have gotten the name of person who returned it, but since they didn't I would just like to say --Thank you on behalf of my mother for somebody being out there who was really honest.
