Poplar Bluff

does help

In response to the article in the paper on Tuesday about "Poplar Bluff people not helping." I really don't believe that. I was at the homeless coalition meeting at the hotel in Poplar Bluff. We had more churches, more organizations, more individual people to come and hold their hand out to help people and give them a helping hand than I've ever seen in my life and I was real proud. I think Poplar Bluff is a wonderful place and I sure didn't see this person up there at that meeting. But, we would like to invite him and show him what Poplar Bluff's really all about.

Raising city

rates and pay

I hope the city light and water office isn't like the City of Poplar Bluff, raising everybody's bills and turn around give their employees a big raise. Thank you.

Obama urged

to stay course

Obama. We elected you on your promise to raise taxes on the rich and keep the middle class taxes like they are. Keep the course. Do NOT bend under the pressure. Keep your word. You got my vote.
