Well, it's strike one for an American icon --the Hostess Baking Company--is being put up on the chopping block to be broken up and probably sold to a foreign conglomerate along with their recipes and product line, but the reason why I'm calling is what really brought it down. Unions! They were already in receivership, but a union chose no--now's the time to strike. We don't care if we have jobs. We don't wanna give a little bit more so we can keep those jobs. Don't care what happens to the company. And, strangely now, just before Christmas all across much of the east coast we are now seeing organized protests against Wal-mart. Workers asking for a minimum of $13 an hour wage. Simply because they have to get a little bit more for their health insurance, which mind you is going up because of Obamacare. So, America we see the AFL/CIO led by Mr. Trumka and others forcing their way into companies and are tearing down the business base in America. Yes, folks, we really do need to look for the union label and avoid it like the plague.

'Morning, Speak Out. I'd like to comment on the Speak Out of Nov. 13 reference: five cents a bullet on ammo in Chicago. Five cents is not that much, but consider the following: on a box of 50 that $2.50; a box of 100, $5.; a carton of 22s containing 500 is $25. The people in Chicago are not crazy. They know the street gangs will not pay that. They will get someone to buy for them because they are not allowed at all to have firearms or ammunition. The anti-gun politicians know it will not stop crime. This is a way to harass the honest citizens. Guns don't jump out and shoot people. It takes a person to pull the trigger. I have a question. Do you all know what the weapon was in the first recorded murder? The answer: it was a rock when Cain slew Abel. Thank you very much and I hope that you print this and let's all try to support our first and second amendments and the others in the Constitution. Thank you very much.

Removing Rush

The headline at the top in big letters: REWARD--for removal of the Rush Limbaugh bust in Jefferson City--to anyone that can make it disappear. It is very embarrassing to the people of Missouri. What did he do to earn this? Lie and cheat and money--wow! You did better than the Republicans. They wasted billions of dollars and didn't get anything. Thank you. Please print this.
