Get better way

to count votes

Yeah. I'm pretty upset about the elections. I tell ya. We're the most powerful country on Earth, you know, and supposed to be the most powerful country on Earth anyway and we can't even have an election without all these problems. Here in Butler County we vote, you stick your ballot in box, it's counted right then--Bam! Why can't Florida, Ohio and all these other states get in the act. The government needs to make a law, a mandate, and tell you've got to have your votes counted in a certain amount of time. If not, your secretary of state loses her job, the governor loses his job and the state is fined. This here in Florida every year is just ridiculous, but of course, we know how they stole it from Al Gore and it don't make no difference now how Florida goes, but they just wanted to deprive Obama from winning Florida, so they're trying every way in the world to steal that state down there. This is ridiculous. We need to pass a federal law that states all votes has to be counted within a certain number of hours after the polls close. We need these electronic devises that counts right then and they all go the state and from the state to the federal government and get this stuff over with. We can't even have a decent election. Other countries has got us beat going in circles, I tell ya. But, Butler County has got a good system. Why can't Florida and rest of them get this system? Thank you, Butler County, for doing such a good job. Thank you.

Voters denied provisional ballot

Here it is election day and election officials down at Karen West are denying people access to provisional ballots simply because they cannot verify that a person on their records--not following the law in issuing a provisional ballot. My step-son came in, had his driver's license with the correct address on it and they denied him a provisional ballot simply because they couldn't find him in their records. Disenfranchisement? I think so. And when we find out a legal group to handle this matter Butler County will wake up to a very stunning fact.
