Yes, I read a column in the Speak Out column today and it really touched my heart. It's about the person who wrote in and said you are building a $1 million mall out there by the hospital, but that we have starving children and adults elderly here in Poplar Bluff. Over half of the population in Poplar Bluff is in that status. In the Bible, it says, that if you do not take care of your own that you are worse than an infidel, so please, Poplar Bluff, consider getting places in here to help your own. Thank you.

Brown Chapel

I would like to speak out about the Brown Chapel Cemetery at Broseley. I was down at Brown's Chapel this past holiday. I couldn't believe how well-kept this cemetery is. It is so good to know that there's people out there that cares so much about our families that have gone on ahead of us. They take the extra step to make everything look so nice and neat. Thanks again for your hard work. You will be rewarded for this someday.
