Strenfel should

resign position

Mr. Strenfel, the voters of Butler County have spoken loud and clear. We don't believe you and the majority don't trust you. With all the hard feeling you expressed toward the current sheriff and his department, you have absolutely no business having any say in his position or the budget for his department. If there is ANY credibility to you --you will resign as county presiding judge and let someone take that position that will work with the sheriff and not show animosity. If you don't resign, the voters need to remember this election in two years and elect a presiding judge that can work with, and support the sheriff.

You say that the Daily American Republic has lied about you --why haven't you filed a civil law suit against them? Maybe the truth will really come out then.

Christians

have rights too

I am calling to thank you the editorial, "Are Christians About to Lose their Freedom of Speech?" in the Sunday paper. I think that you have verbalized what so many of us are feeling. I didn't go to a Chick-fil-A and take part in that the other day, but if I had it would not have been because I have hate in my heart, but I would have been making a statement about the fact that everyone including Christians have the right to express what they believe. Thank you.

Oak Grove Rd.

is a hardship

With only a week until school starts if they aren't going to have Oak Grove Road partially open for school like they promised, someone needs to find out why because that's going to make a hardship for everybody having to go in there from the northside out there off of 67.
