Puttin' down

Yes, I'm calling in regards to "Take Out the Trash". Well this man is kinda like what we called down south "White trash hick" talking about the President of the United States. You know, he's everybody's president whether you like it or not. I hate George Bush, but I never said he wasn't my president because he was President of the United States of America. And, I AM an American! So this man must not be very American if that ain't his president. But, they keep puttin' him down, puttin' down, puttin' down, puttin' down. You gotta realize what this man inherited three years ago after eight years of George Bush, you know. It was a mess. It still a mess, but he's cleaned a lot of it up. Give him four more years and he'll do a better job and a good job. He knows what he's doing. Now, everybody has to learn including that poor old southern white trash hick running his mouth here in the paper. Thank you, and goodbye you all.

Wasting water

I'm just wondering why Poplar Bluff is wasting so much water sending mosquito sprayers out every night? They could be using that water on lawns that need watering and other places that need watering in this drought. Obviously, it isn't mosquito spray because it comes by our house every night and are alive with mosquitoes in our neighborhood. It just must be, like it always is in Poplar Bluff, another job for one of the good ole boys. Thank you.

Budget benches cheerleaders

I think it's pretty sad when the schools get money all they think about is increasing salaries and then when the school from Poplar Bluff goes other places to play basketball and football, they cannot even afford to send their cheerleaders to the games, but other schools bring their cheerleaders when they come to play Poplar Bluff. I thank you very much.
