Why you are NOT spraying?

We know the city is going through some financial difficulty. You see it in the paper. They're cutting back on police services. They're cutting back here, they're cutting back there. They're not doing raises. Blah, blah, blah. The one thing that really bothers me most is the fact that we're now held hostage in our homes due to the fact that our fine city is no longer spraying for mosquitoes. Yeah, I'm one of those that's gonna keep calling in and keep calling in . . . maybe two or three times a week. Kind of sticking the old pitchfork in our city's collective memory. They have the equipment. They're just not using it. I mean, come on, city, wake up! What type of agenda are you pushing? A tax raise? You gonna boost our property taxes until everybody coughs up and gets you spraying trucks or something? People just simply want to know why you are NOT spraying. You did last year. And, now, again we've got mosquitoes so bad we can't be outside after dark. Thank you, city! This is one voter that come November anybody on the ballot for this community is gone.

Skeeter truck

slow down

Mosquitoes! Mosquitoes! The mosquito truck in South Poplar Bluff needs to slow down a little bit. He just flies up and down them streets. He's not accomplishing a thing by going ninety miles an hour down them streets. He needs to slow down some. Also he's starting way to early - six o'clock is to early in the day really to get out and start spraying them mosquitoes. He needs to wait until closer to dark. Thank you.
